The homeowner wanted a complete remake of this worn-down basement bathroom. The feeling they were after was fresh farmhouse and "standing in a river" when taking a shower". Therefor we picked a river stone interlocking tile for the shower floor and a calming subway tile for the walls. We choose a vertical staggered brick for a more modern look. For the bathroom floor we picked a rustic wood looking tile, and the vanity is a classic farmhouse style. For extra storage we picked a simple recessed medicine cabinet - and for that extra farmhouse feel we found a pair of really cool vanity light in the shape of mason jars. We also added a linen closet and a shower bench in bamboo.
